I attached my log file.

while moving "db2 folder and userspace continer , temp space container" from one system E drive to other system D drive, we configured in configure assistant, but the test conncetion is failed.

it showing the above error.

data base: DB2 V9.1

OS:Win2003 server

Pls give some suggestions.

    Hi Narayan,

    Are you saying that you created a database on one drive, physically moved it to another drive, and then uncataloged/recataloged it?

    As you have found out, this will not work. :-)

    If you are trying to do such a thing then you have a couple of options:

    - backup the database and restore it to the new location
    - use db2relocatedb

    db2relocatedb allows you to physically move the database (or individual containers) and then update the database to reflect the movement. More details can be found in this article:

    If you're actually trying something else then let me know the specific steps that you performed.
