Pinned topic JCC vs. DerbyClient

‏2007-05-14T17:27:09Z |
Hello,

I have a doubt regarding drivers. What is the diffrence between IBM's DB2 UDB Java Common Client JDBC driver(db2cc.jar) and Derby Network Client(derbyclient.jar)?

Is Derby Network Client based on JCC?

Regards,

Stanley

The Derby client has some improvements and features that the JCC does not have. More information is in this FAQ:

    http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/db2/library/techarticle/dm-0408bradbury/#cs_net_client_10.1

    I hope this helps.

// I'm back after problems with my ISP

Thank you very much, now I see the difference between them.
