i want to install SLES9 or SLES10 on the P570 System with the the Boot-CD.
I can start the lpar with the Boot-CD and i can configure the Installation Wizard.
I want to install from network. My Machine get a ip-adress from the install-server and the installer-script suse-net-install.sh get the root file from install-server.
After the file download has finished we have several errors:

Re: IBM Installation Linux on Power - installation problems2007-04-25T12:19:10Z in response to SystemAdminHi,
By looking at the logs I presume you had tried a previous installation because the directories and links are not being removed or created.
I'd ask you to try an installation from a clean state (that is, reboot your lpar), and then send me the logs you can find in the /tmp directory (named yast* in sles installations). I'll be able to pinpoint problems from those logs.
SLES10 is not supported by this version of the tool yet, so you won't be able to install it using this tool.
