Pinned topic JSP is not compiled

‏2007-04-23T13:18:50Z |
Hi everyone. We are using WebSphere application server 6.0.2.9 running on AIX.
There are three environments with exactly the same code (classes, JSPs): test/alpha, test/beta, production. A single JSP page is not compiled (no *.class file is generated) in production but is compiled (and executed correctly) in both alpha and beta environments. When calling the JSP in production, the "404 Not Found" error is displayed in browser, here is info from the header of the error:
==============================
HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found
content-language: en
content-type: text/html;charset=ISO-8859-1
date: Mon, 23 Apr 2007 12:00:03 GMT
p3p: CP="NON CUR OTPi OUR NOR UNI"
server: IBM_HTTP_Server/6.0.2.9 Apache/2.0.47
via: 1.1 y06exnetapp003 (NetCache NetApp/6.0.2P2)
transfer-encoding: chunked
$wsep:

Error 404: Error reported: 404
==============================

There is no error message in the log files. All file permissions were already checked.. Is there any possibilities to check why a JSP is not compiled? Maybe someone already had and fixed similar problem? Any hint/advice would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

    The problem is fixed. The root cause was that latest web deployment descriptor (web.xml) was not installed.
