Pinned topic Part 3, pg 12, 'configuring Apache': Listing 6: Deny All causes failure

‏2007-02-02T19:07:01Z |

Using Drupal 5.2 with Apache 2.2.4, the Deny All in Listing 6 will cause Apache to have no VirtualHosts defined because Apache will not allow access from any host. Fix: change order:
<Directory "C:\Eclipse\Ken\workspace\drupal_development">
AllowOverride All
Order Deny,Allow
Allow from 127.0.0.1
Deny from All

</Directory>

    The trailing slash after phpmyadmin in

    Alias /phpmyadmin/ C:/Apache/Apache2/phpMyAdmin/

    also caused read permission to be denied on my system (Windows 2003 Server)... replaced with:

    Alias /phpmyadmin C:\Apache\Apache2\phpMyAdmin
