Pinned topic Voice Toolkit installation

‏2006-11-08T02:28:52Z |
Hi everybody! I'm a brazilian student and i'm trying to install Voice Toolkit, but i have some problems.

I got Rational Application Developer with Websphere Application Server v6.0 test environment. In the installation guide of voice toolkit it appears that i have to install Websphere Application server v5.1 test environment but this feature does not exist in the ibm website...

This way, on the installation menu of VTK the option "Local Voice Server Environment" is unavailable.

What can i do?

Thank you so much
See ya

    Re: Voice Toolkit installation

The WebSphere Application Server V5.1 test environment of Rational Application Developer is used by the Voice Toolkit to run a local version of WebSphere Voice Server and a VXML browser, which gives you a test environment for grammars and voicexml applications. The 'free' download or evaluation copy of RAD does not include the WAS V5.1 test environment, it is only available with a full version of RAD. You can still use the Voice Toolkit .... the vxml and ccxml editors, the grammar editors and so on, but you won't be able to run the test environments.
