There is a strange error.

On the host, there are two instance owner, A and B,
and i have a user called X which is supposed to be
an application user for B.

When I switch to user X, execute the db2profile from B,
and run the command 'db2', the error of SQL5005C return.

SQL5005C System Error.

then, when i try to switch to user X, execute the db2profile
from A (NOT B), and run the command 'db2', it works fine.

I have tried to use the instance owner B to run db2 command,
there is nothing wrong.

So, I would like to ask the source of the problem that why
to get SQL5005C.

Thanks

I got the solution from Google.

If the permission of read for other is removed in file
    $INSTHOME/sqllib/db2systm (o-r),
the application user, when executing command 'db2', will
get the error SQL5005C System Error.

To solve it, add read to others on db2systm.
By default, db2systm has read permission for other.

    Thanks.
