While we did not chose to go with a web application framework, we're still very interested how [b]you[/b] have applied these technologies to create community web sites that provide a method for content management.
There is a lot of buzz around Rails but what else have you used? Have you had the opportunity to practically compare it next to Django for example?

This is the accepted answer.Since you are using PHP for serverside scripting, why not consider Zend_Framework. It also make sense to use this framework, because both IBM and Zend are woking on a project called QEDwiki that uses the Zend_Framework.
