Newer versions of DataStage have a Stored Procedure stage, which gives you way more options. Otherwise, you just issue the 'call' statement in the Before Sql tab of an OCI stage.

From the Stored Procedure? In the Before SQL tab? Nope.

In the stored procedure stage, there are default proc code and message that are returned by the output of the stored procedure stage. You can send that to the Transformer stage that in turn sends it to a sequetial file. The file will serve as the log file for the stored procedure.
