Pinned topic Error when opening the application.xml in Rad 6.0

‏2006-06-06T13:40:23Z |
When I open the application.xml in RAD6.0 and go to the deployment tab I see the following error:

The deployment information cannot be loaded successfully. you cannot make any changes to the Deployment page. Ensure that a websphere v6.0 server runtime has been defined with the correct Websphere installation directory.

Can anyone help resolving this issue pls.

thanks
Kethi

      Hi,

Please delete the "DEBUG = nul" variable in the environment variable and create the new profile for the server(WAS 6.0) and deploy your EAR then It will work.

      fixed

      I found the problem :
My project was kind of corrupted.

This was caused by an WSAD project imported recently. So if you wanna do that, don't forget to save your workspace

      regards

Hey Captain Kirk, props to you for putting your own answer in. In the entire WWW this is the only place where this error is documented (recently imported project) and solved (save workspace / resetart rational/wdsc). Thanks!

I just encountered this problem after upgrading my local test environment from 6.0.0.0 to 6.0.2.17.

The apparent cause of this problem is that RAD lost track of the underlying WAS 6.0 runtime because of the upgrade and so I had to add a new definition of the runtime (and therefore a new server definition).

I'll post again if I discover I need to do anything else.
