Pinned topic MQE 2.0.2 Needed Help

‏2006-03-20T20:16:50Z |
I am new to MQE. I have upgraded our web application from MQe 1.2.7 to MQe 2.0.2. In the following code its using this trace method, but when I recompiled my applicatio with new MQe 2.0.2 jar files it says trace method does not exist. Does anyone know which method to use instead of this and if anyone can give implementation of new method. Following is the code that uses trace method for MQe 1.2.7. Please help me out on this. Thank You

if(!checkQMgr.equals(QMgrName)) /* match? */
throw new MQeException(MQe.Except_Authenticate,"Authentication failed");
else
trace("successfully Authenticator on the server");

return (QMgrName); /* set the authenticated id

    Hi,

    There is no static method called trace(String) in MQe.
    It looks like the trace() is a user defined method.
    Please search for the .java file which has trace() method in it and put
    that class in your classpath.Then try compiling.

    regards,
    Vijay

    This trace method is in MQe 1.2.7 in the following class:
    com.ibm.MQe
    This is method declaration:

    public void trace(String arg);

    But in the new one their is not trace method likes this in MQe class. Does anyone know which method is being replaced for this and if so how to implement it. Looks like the new MQe class in 2.0.2 had mostly new methods compare to ones in MQe class 1.2.7.

    Thanks!
