Pinned topic CC remote client connection problem

Hi everybody,

I have a problem connecting ClearCase remote client to ClearCase server.

When creating a view, I need to enter following information (values that I have entered are in brackets):

  • CC web server URL: [http://[i]server_name[/i]/ccweb]
  • username: [[i]domain_name[/i][i]domain_user[/i]]
  • password: [[i]password[/i]]

When I click "Next" I get the following response:

[b]"Unable to login to the specified server.
Unrecognized RPC request: rpc="CCW_CCase::login_rpc"[/b]

Am I entering wrong server URL?
When I try to access "CC web server URL" with web browser, I get the login form. I am able to login with my credentials and browse through VOBs. Based on this, I guess Rational Web Platform is working fine.

    You may not have matching versions of CCRC and the web platform, I
    believe the server version should be 2003.06.15. Also, there exist
    updates for the client too.
