In the article on Election Markup Language (EML), David Mertz states:
"I am not entirely certain I have the semantics of <Election>, <Contest>, <Selection>, and <Option> right, but given the cardinalities of elements, this seems to be the required arrangement. Exactly how <ElectionName> and <ContestName> relate is also not wholly clear to me."
Has this confusion been raised to the Oasis group working on the standard yet? I'd like to see this clarified, but I haven't found any examples of a well-formed 410, 440, or 460 document anywhere.

Sorry, the paragraph I quoted got munged. Here it is with the missing words: (quoting David Mertz' article on EML):
"I am not entirely certain I have the semantics of Election, Contest, Selection, and Option right, but given the cardinalities of elements, this seems to be the required arrangement. Exactly how ElectionName and ContestName relate is also not wholly clear to me."
