Pinned topic Workflow service stops with FMC31050E error

Hi,

My workflow system has been running successfully for a number of months, but
now I get the following issues.

The workflow service stops with Error FMC3105E.

In the Db2diag.log I get the following message

Soon after this message appears the service stops. At the weekend a reorgchk
db and a rebind was run in the database for the first time in about 6
months. Is it possible that this failed somehow and should be re run? Any
other ideas would be gratefully received.

The system in running on Windows 2000, Workflow 3.4 Fp2 and DB2 7.2

    Chris,

    this error is typically following a server error. You should be able to
    detect the real error in the system log / error log.
    Yes runstat rebind can produce such a situation if not running
    successfully. Check also your tablespace and your
    MQ queue depth.

    Hi,

    your logfile shows several problems in your workflow environment.
    The most important problem is a TCP/IP communication error that brought
    your workflow server down (FMC31050E).
    The remote database system reported this error with SQLCODE 30081.
    Probably this TCP/IP problem also causes
    the FMC12290E error. I cannot tell you the reason for your TCP/IP
    problem. If it occurred only once you can ignore it
    and just restart your workflow servers from scratch (clean the system log
    and the error log files before restarting).
    If it occurs repeatedly and probably intermittently, you'll need further
    actions that are beyond my workflow skills
    to investigate your communication environment.

    In addition you have a modelling error in your workflow process that can
    create problems and therefore should be fixed:
    FMC22595W Process 1558851, connector from Director de
    Flujos.PGI.Solucion_y_Soporte_Tecnica to
    Director de Flujos.PGI.Pendiente_Solucion_Tecnica_STB:
    Member Director de Flujos.PGI.Solucion_y_Soporte_Tecnica:PGI_OK is not
    set.
    In you process model you make a navigation decision dependent from the
    value of member PGI_OK.
    However during runtime for process instance 1558851 this member is not
    set. Make sure that your implementation
    ALWAYS sets this member. I recommend to model an initial value for it.
