Pinned topic Error from RPC server: Failed to create chart.

‏2013-11-27T12:59:18Z |
I have some charts as queries made with the Windows Client, and they work fine in my local environment with all clients (Eclipse, Windows y CQWeb).

But in the integration server the chart queries return an error in CQWeb:

CRVSV0078E Error from RPC server: CRVSV0852E Failed to create chart.

The integration server has a S.O Red Hat 6.2 and ClearQuest 8.0.0.2

How can I avoid this error? Or what could be the cause?

IIRC ClearQuest on Linux cannot create charts.

If you have a charts/reports server on a Windows server, you should be able to configure your Linux CQWeb environment to run charts through that other server.  This technote refers to CQ 7.1.2, but the concept should be similar for 8.0:

Configuring CM server on Unix to display charts:

    http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21408438

Error running data-push reports when cqweb is hosted in unix and workarounds:

    http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21402865

    Good luck!
