Pinned topic Attribute for Outline Number

‏2013-09-23T10:57:56Z |

Is there a parameter I can use to export the outline NUMBER of an object into Excel. I don't want the oultline level (1,2,3)  but the actual number (2, 2.3, 2.4.7)

I have tried any number of searches and cannot find anything apart from a suggestion that I export the level and then parse the excel file and add the numbers that way. Surely there must be something better ...

    Hi,

    Have you tried "Object Number"?

      Yes.  One of these two:

      • string para = probeAttr_(o, "Object Number")
      • string para = number(o)

First be sure showing deletions of off, since deleted objects will get their paragraph number and will throw off the paragraph numbers of subsequent non-deleted objects

      • current = mod
      • showDeletedObjects(false)
