Pinned topic Carriage Control Characters

‏2011-10-11T07:03:02Z |
My mainframe program generates a report and writes it to disk, retaining the carriage control characters. The program
works fine in Personal PLI except there are no carriage control characters in the disk file. Anyone know how to retain these
characters in the output disk file? I understand there is an ASA option but I don't know the syntax or where it goes.

The file must be opened (or declared) with the PRINT attribute.
The file must be written to a D/A device.
