Pinned topic IBM WebSphere Portlet Factory 7.0 with RAD 8.5.1

Hello ,

 I have installed WPF 7.0 with  RAD 8.5.1. on windows 7.Instalationl  was  fine  but The design view is  not coming for any  model file.??

 Is it a known  issue or some fix pack needs to be installed..?

 

Please  help me  out.??

    Ok... but as per this post WEF 7.0 is not supported in  64 bit OS. then what 

    should be the compatible version  Of RAD we should use if  we have windows 7 and  we need WPF 7.0

    If you go back up from the supported versions page on that link you can find the supported versions page for other versions of Web Experience Factory:

    http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27013671

    It looks like the WPF 7.0 and WEF 7.0.1 supported versions pages there mention RAD8.0.

    WPF 7.0 is getting fairly old.  If you are doing new development, it is typically better to start with a more recent release with the latest enhancements, fixes and performance improvements.

    Thanks. This issue got resolved  with Installation of RAD 8.0.1.

     Everything is working  fine now.
