Pinned topic Problem collecting data using ISA Data Collector (ProcessServer_2.0.2.tar.gz) for Linux

‏2013-04-18T04:03:51Z |

I downloaded and installed the IBM Support Assistant Data Collector for WebSphere Application Server (ProcessServer_2.0.2.tar.gz) for Linux.  Its version is as follows:

# ./isadc.sh -version
ApplicationServer=2.0.3.20120316
ProcessServer=2.0.2.20120316
Common Inventory Sub Agent=6.3.0.20120123
IBM Support Assistant Data Collector=2.0.1.GA20120316-1743
When I run the script to collect Generic Problem data for WebSphere Process Server, it throws the following error:

Starting the collection for the Generic Problem option

An unrecoverable error has occurred and the collection has been aborted.
Please review the logs located in /root/dc/isadc/log.

The log file contains the following:

SEVERE: An unrecoverable error has occurred and the collection has been aborted. Please review the logs located in /opt/IBM/WPS70/isadc/log.
Throwable occurred: /opt/IBM/WPS70/isadc/scripts/SSQH9M/wps-generic.xml:14: The following error occurred while executing this line:
/opt//IBM/WPS70/isadc/scripts/aim/common-setup.xml:24: The following error occurred while executing this line:

/opt/IBM/WPS70/isadc/scripts/portchecker/portcollector.xml:11: taskdef class com.ibm.aim.anttasks.was.PortCheckerTask cannot be found

...

Is there anyone here got the same problem and got a workaround or fix?

Thanks,

Joe

    I just ran the collection on my windows machine without a problem.

    Can you give me access to this machine that you are having problems with ? If not, we will have to do a screenshare to see what is goingon.

    Please set up some time with me - Email - sdipak@us.ibm.com
