Pinned topic Reg DXL script to extract the target path of the Link from the source

‏2013-07-10T14:37:27Z |

I want to write a DXL script to extract the following information

 - Read the Links in the open module with objects categorised to Requirements
 - Extract the target path of the LINK ( Out-Link / IN-Link) where the module refers.

Store the information with the Linkset information

Can anyone help me with the code snippet.

Am in need of the script. Can anyone help me

Let me comment in referse order.

"Store the information with the Linkset information" - Link Modules have little information.  Although you cannot see the "objects", each Object represent a Link-Set.  You can indeed add "Attributes" to the Link Module and can add attr-values to the link-set; but it does not make sense to do so.  In this case, if you have 1000 requirements linked with the link set, that LinkSet.Attr-Value would have 1000 paragraphs of information.

Otherwise, perhaps I'm wrong but you seem to want to capture link information in some attribute so you can recreate the links later.  Goole "capturelinks.dxl" and also "link by attribute"/"DXL"
