Pinned topic Datapower reboot issue

‏2013-05-22T21:27:24Z |

Hi,

We are using  DP XI50 box running firmware 3.8.0.3. We have come across a situation where in DP reboot occurs on its own. On looking at the logs I can find below mentioned logs appearing at the same time of restart.

[debug] (admin:MVNE:system:*:startup-config:151):   event-code 0x00030002
[debug] (admin:MVNE:system:*:startup-config:168):   event-code 0x00330002

Can you please advice why it could be happening? How can we resolve this - Short term fix (We will be doing firmware upgrade later this year)?

When I perform Shutdown reboot, it takes 5 minutes for the box to come up but here the outage occurs for 30-45 seconds only. Any one has any idea?

Thanks & Regards,
Vrs

Please do your upgrade, 3.8.0.x firmware is out of support since September last year:
    http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21246298

From WebGUI under "Administration->Debug->View List of Event Codes":

0x00030002    parser    error    Out of memory
    0x00330002    mgmt     error    Memory full

If these messages occur after restart then probably the config/number of services has become too big?
    Perhaps too many WSPs/WSDLs/...

Is your box under load when you see this message on restart?

      Hi,

Does the re-boot happen automatically? Or say you run a Service 'X', and in the process of Running X Service, the Box reboots?
