Pinned topic Sending messages – choices for multi-QM client attachment

‏2017-04-20T16:05:54Z | mq upgrade

Good Morning

We are migrating all our distributed applications from MQ 7 to IIB 10

and one of the approaches suggested to send messages to Q via Code Stub style

Can you please help us understand how the code is supposed to be changes.

present applications writes into ONE Q, using a queue connection factory... following is the code snippet

                String queueName = configurator.getJMSProperty(QCF_NAME);
                QueueConnectionFactory qcf = (QueueConnectionFactory)srvcLocator.getQueueConnectionFactory(queueName.trim());

                Queue queue = (Queue)srvcLocator.getQueue(queueJNDIName);
                QueueConnection connection = qcf.createQueueConnection();
                connection.start();

                QueueSession session = connection.createQueueSession(false, Session.AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE);
                QueueSender sender = session.createSender(queue);

                TextMessage textMsg = session.createTextMessage();
                textMsg.setText("Test Me");
                queueSender.send(textMsg);

In the TOBE state will I have to write into 2 Queues at the same time, and how will the java code change!!!

    If you are going to use IIB, I suggest you get training and look at how IIB connects to MQ.

    IIB is a completely different environment.
