Pinned topic Command to get node stats in IBM SVC vs. IBM Storwize V7k series

To get the node stats in IBM SVC , i am using the command lsnodestats. However when i try to run the same command on IBM Storwize V7k series. It says "command not found". I found a link(below) that says we can extract the stats with "lsnodecanisterstats" command

But i am not sure whether the output of lsnodecanisterstats command is same as lsnodestats in IBM SVC product.Can anyone reflect the difference between this two.As lsnodecanisterstats  says "The lsnodecanisterstats command displays the most recent values of all node canister statistics".I don't know what the canister is.

or it would be great if someone help with single command to collect the node stats that support on both product(IBM SVC vs. IBM Storwize V7k series).

    yeah, the command output is same.But actually i was not sure about whether node and node canister both refer to same managed element.I was building some probe which monitors this system.Initially i was monitoring the IBM SVC system using this probe.When i run the same probe against IBM v7k series product ,the command lsnodestats was giving error . So i came to know about lsnodecansiterstats which i am not sure monitors the node or a part of node.

    A "node" in an SVC system is equivalent to a "node canister" in a Storwize system.

    Eg lsnode  vs  lsnodecanister

    Another option is you can use the svcinfo or svctask command in front of any command, and it should work on either SVC or V7000.

    eg. svcinfo lsnodestats returns the same info on a V7000 that just running lsnodecanisterstats does.
