Pinned topic Setting a specific page layout

‏2013-04-19T11:18:15Z |

Hi, i'm a newbie to this dxl scripting lark

I am trying to write a script to set a specific page layout, which is already defined, and also change the view to a specific one, which is already defined. I can set both manually with no problem.

I grab the current page layout using this. No errors are reported and it gives me the current page layout.

crntPageLayout = pageName

I am using this to try and set the page layout

current = PageLayout "A layout name"

and also tried this

moduleObj = PageLayout "A layout name"

Both come back with a syntax error. "current" is defined thus.

Module moduleObj = current

What is the problem?

Just to add, I am using DOORS 9.3 if it makes any difference

    Fixed!

    current = pageLayout "A layout name"
