Pinned topic How to recreate TLMA database?

‏2013-09-04T12:55:59Z |

Hi I have installed ILMT 7.5 and fix pack 1 on windows.

Now my database got some wrong data during a failed interim fix installation.

If I run "dbrootinstall.bat" command for recreating database, will it be creating database with values corresponding to ILMT7.5 FP1 or it will create the database according to ILMT 7.5.0.

Please help me (its in production :(  ).

    Hi!

If you really want to create your db from scratch and you do not have any backups! (from 7.5.0 or FP1) then:

    • stop the server
    • drop your current db
    • make a backup of c:\Program Files\Zero G Registry\.com.zerog.registry.xml (rename it or move somewhere). Now the installer will not detect your current installation.
    • install 7.5.0 into a separate dir: e.g. C:\Program Files\IBM\LMT1 (your current installation is still on the machine). Select Administration database component only!
    • upgrade this component to FP1
    • remove C:\Program Files\IBM\LMT1
    • remove c:\Program Files\Zero G Registry\.com.zerog.registry.xml that will be created during this installation/upgrade
    • restore your original c:\Program Files\Zero G Registry\.com.zerog.registry.xml from the backup
    • start the server

Please remember that this procedure creates a new LMT database - no data will be restored from your old db.

    I hope it will help

    Regards

Thank you Pawel for your reply.

I have another doubt regarding Interim fix installation.

I tried to install Interim Fix 12 and it failed with following message:

An unexpected token "-IN" was found following "_V to user ADMINJAKN". Expected tokens may include: "<space>".. SQLCODE=-104, SQLSTATE=42601, DRIVER=3.62.56
CODPT0022E: The mandatory step "Update TLMA database - APAR IV38595" has failed.
      CODPT0079I: Rollback changes.
      CODPT0080I: Changes undone.
CODPT0022E: The mandatory step "Deploy deliverable" has failed.
CODPT0003E: The Agile Continuous Fix Stream exits with code 16.
      One more final info:
One SQL instruction has failed (Message CODPT0098E should contain the details).
All modified files should be already restored.
Any changes done to the database so far are NOT rolled back.
      You have two options now:
              1. Restore the database from backup taken before upgrade.
The system will be reverted as it was prior to upgrade.
Once the problem is fixed you can run the upgrade again.
              2. Correct the problem and run the upgrade again
All database modifications that have been

I tried, IF11 also. but even that failed with same error.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

        Hi,

I think it is a time to open a PMR. This is ether a problem of your db/DB2 or you simply found a new bug.

        Sorry for this

        Regards

        Hi,

I found that this issue is due to the problem in username. my username is "ADMINJAKN-IN".

but it takes the username as "ADMINJAKN" and the remaining part ("-IN") as some token.

Even if I run the Interim fix installation as a different user, it shows this error with this username.

How I can run entire thing as a different user?

Note: If I log in as different user and run the update.bat (interim fix installation), it will show this error with this particular username. Don't know why it takes this username again, even if it is run as a different user.

Note: ILMT server is installed with "ADMINJAKN-IN" user.
