Pinned topic ISAM/TAM-eb Junction to an IIS application

‏2014-01-20T17:05:59Z |

Hello everyone.

I am looking for somw guidelines ad suggestions to succesfully create an integration between IBM Security Access Manager for Web and a web application that is hosted in an IIS on a Windows 2008 server.

The application uses forms authentication, a simple user/password combination.

I have been reading the WebSEAL Guide and the Plugin for Web Servers guide, but I do not have any clue about how to configure the forms authentication between ISAM and the IIS-hosted application.

1. Does WebSEAL works for this kind of integration? Should I use the Plugin for Web Servers instead?

2. Do I need to install packages in the Microsoft server?

Thanks in advance.

Regards, Andres.

    Thanks for your answer Giri!

I was looking for that option a few days ago, so that is indeed a good way to develop the integration. Using that choice I will be able to use WebSEAL so that is just ideal to the client's architecture.

Another question: I would be able to use FSSO with a login form on a .ASPX file? Or that it is just reserved to use with .HTML files?

    Thanks again!

    Regards, Andres

    Andres.

    Hi Andres,

    Is your problem solved?

I am facing same issue for fsso with IIS application.

When I try to access the application via webseal, it only displays the page with IIS image( I guess it is IIS server main page).

    Regards,

    Prashant
