Pinned topic ClearQuest 8.0.10 Description

I am looking for help in creating a text template to be inserted into the Description on creation of a new defect to be used as a guide line of information required in submitting a defect. I think a hook could work, but I am not a VBScript expert by any means. Example of what I would like added to the description field on the submit form.

Issue:

Steps to Reproduce:

1.

2.

3.

    You may try the below-

    Dim Dev_template
    crLf = vbCrLf
    Dev_template = "Issue: " & crlf & crlf & crlf & "Steps to Reproduce: " & crlf & "1. " & crlf & "2. " & crlf & "3. " & crlf & "Expected: " & crlf & crlf & "Actual: "
    SetFieldValue "Description", Dev_template

    You do not need to be an expert to create a field default value hook like this

        SetFieldValue fieldname, "Something" & vbCrLf & _
        "that I would like to set" & vbCrLf & _
        "as multiline" & vbCrLf & _
        "value"
