Pinned topic Not able to assign value in Array

‏2018-04-24T11:55:35Z | zosconnect

Hi

we are able to test API after deploying on server .But we did few changes in the copy books to make it run on zOS.
Our original copy books contain few fields which occur in array . But at time of mapping  we are not able to assign any transform to array fields . As a workaround we have hardcoded array fields to their exact size. For example in our case earlier we were using array for header container but as workaround we have fixed the size with two header container and modified our copybook. So we need your help in sorting out this issue.

Thanks

Neeraj

    Hi Neeraj,

Today, the only mapping transform that is supported for arrays is Remove.  We're working on adding support for defining HTTP parameters that are arrays (csv, pipes, etc..) and mapping them using the Move transform to arrays in the service body.  So that I understand your requirement, could you confirm that you need the ability to Assign a fixed set of values to an array in the service body? Or is it to an HTTP header?

    Thanks,  --Ted

    Hi Ted,

We are passing fixed set of values to an array in service body also we found there is no assign transform for array to pass fix values.

    Thanks
