Pinned topic Unknown Exception during SUBMIT opeartion

All:

I am getting the following Error  while clicking  a  "New Record" at the top

button on The   CQ Windows Client 2013 ( Vista Enterprise) This error occurs for all 

record types on  a particular machine.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

ERROR! CRMUD0081E Execution of a hook failed during the action
Submit. It was the FIELD_PERMISSION hook of the field  Significant
attached to the error "CQXXXXXX". The reason for the failure wasUnknown exception

--------------------------------------------------------------

 We tried to re install the CQ Client  but in vain.

 

Any help is appreciated.

    The error clearly points to the FIELD_PERMISSION hook of the field "Significant", so it may be a schema related issue. You need to look into the hook code to understand why the error would occur. You can collect the ClearQuest core trace to help you narrow down which line of code causes the problem.

    The problem was fixed when  the user got migrated to Windows 7.
