Pinned topic APM 7.6 (non-VM) Launchpad Workspace

‏2013-07-12T10:30:45Z |

Hi,

I've seen the Launchpad TEP Workspace available as part of the APM 7.6 VM deployment. But how do you get access to it, if you have installed APM 'the old fashioned way' i.e. a non-VM install?

Thanks

Dave

    Sorry, been away. I'll rephrase.

There is a demo swf file doing the rounds (scampee_deploy_os_agent.swf), this shows APM Launch Pad and System Discovery and Deployment TEP work spaces (amongst others), being available as part of the VM Image download of SCAPM EE. (attached some screenshots)

How do I get access to these work spaces, if I've installed SCAPM the traditional way, i.e. using install binaries directly onto an OS?

    Thanks

    Dave

Traditional SCAPM does not have this function, this function is only in IBM Smart Cloud Application Performance Management Entry Edition - VM Images V7.6 released on 03/2013. Thanks.

TO be honest I'm more interested in the servers discovery and deployment work spaces that can be launched from it.

APM UI gets TEPS information when the users specify the ITM Data Provider, based on TEPS information it is able to compose the URL to launch to TEP.

    Thanks.

Do you know if there are any plans to include it as part of the traditional downloads as it looks pretty useful.
