Pinned topic Liberty Core 20 User license

‏2014-01-03T12:54:47Z | 20 core liberty license user

I see the pricing for the 20 user license of Liberty Core and had some questions about it.  I am not sure if this is the right place for these questions but the answers may impact how I migrate my WAS Express Apps to Liberty Core.

1) Does the number 20 mean concurrent users?  If not, what does it mean?

2) If I need '30', would I need to buy another 20 user license?

Thanks for any guidance!

Hi Alex.  This could be for both a Business Partner or not - I support both cases.

    Hi,

I've done a bit more homework and found that IBM is indeed offering a 20-user license for Liberty Core.  This is for 20 named (not concurrent) users, so to have 30 named users you'd need 2 such licenses.

    Regards, Alex.

    Hi,

I have to admit I'm not familiar with a user-based license for Liberty - is this from IBM or from a business partner?  If you send me a link I can pass your question on to Product Management for a definitive answer.

    Thanks, Alex.

    Hi,

Sorry I meant - is this Liberty Core license offered directly by IBM or by a business partner (reseller)?

    Regards, Alex.
