‏2013-07-17T11:26:46Z |

Hi,

I have SVC - 6.4 with rhel 6.1. im using the native multipath ( reading the DOC to use ALUA ).

How can i check what path are active ? or making sure im writing to the preferred node of the SVC?

Could not find SDDMx for RHEL.. - not sure i really want to use it.

the following show ACTIvE path and any IO will be using this :

    •  policy='round-robin 0' prio=50status=active
    • | |- 1:0:2:0 sdd 8:48 active ready  running
    • | `- 1:0:3:0 sde 8:64 active ready  running

And below will be on standby mode and only active if above in disable mode due to connections failures to sanswitch/storage controllers.

    • -+- policy='round-robin 0' prio=10 status=enabled
    •   |- 1:0:0:0 sdb 8:16 active ready  running
    •   `- 1:0:1:0 sdc 8:32 active ready  running
