Pinned topic Creating session using CQ API on 64bit-Windows7 results ActiveX error

‏2014-01-21T06:05:37Z |

I ran ExcelVBA creating CQsession, and it resulted in ActiveX error.

< VBA Code>
Set objSession = CreateObject("CLEARQUEST.SESSION")

< Error >
429: ActiveX component can't create object

< environment>
Excel 2010-64bit
Windows7-64bit
ClearQuest V8.0.1

I found this page below, but the way to resolve didn't work for VBA. (It's for VBScript)

Has anyone found a way to create session of CQ from VBA on Windows-64bit?

Thanks,

by Excel macro.(a push button object)

I also tried to run in that way changing my VBA code to VBScript, and It worked.

But I can't find the way to make running it by Excel VBA
I required to make a tool by Excel.
