‏2013-09-12T03:35:08Z |

Hi,

I am trying to use the DataExplorerPush operator.. I am simply reading some data from a file and passing it to the DataExplorerPush operator. But I am getting the below errors.. Please let me know where i am wrong..

11 Sep 2013 23:20:21.444 [87109] ERROR #splapptrc,J[3],P[10],dpush M[JavaOp.cpp:trace:151]  - Unable to route  task[com.ibm.dataexplorer.bigindex.internal.ingestion.enqueue.tasks.AddOrUpdateRecordEnqueueTask@44264426[taskId=53425d84-6fe2-4583-b12e-fe15d58ed7a5,recordKey=com.ibm.dataexplorer.bigindex.

com.ibm.dataexplorer.bigsearch.IndexerException:com.vivisimo.gelato.entity.model.InconsistentModelException: Unable to find an entity definition
for type[Tweet]

These are the lines in the connections.txt document:

zookeeperNamespace=sample
zookeeperEndpoints=streamsbc.imte.bootcamp:2181

What should be the zookeeperNamespace value here ?? sample is simply a name i gave..

    Hi,

    The error that you are seeing is because it is not able to find the entity type definition "Tweet". You will have to first create the Zookeeper namespace and load the entity type 'Tweet' to the name space that you have referred in the connection document before you use it.Please let me know if you need instructions on how to load the entities to the zookeeper namespace.

    Please find the instructions for the DEP setup attached

    I tried the steps given in the attached file. I created the ZookeeperExampleModel.xml file under BIGINDEX_HOME/examples directory. But where do i specify the location of this file ?

    I tried a simple example. zookeeper i am running in localhost. But i am getting the below error:

    Connection timed out for connection string (localhost:2181,) and timeout (15000)

    The location of the xml file can be anywhere on your host. However use the absolute path of the xml file when you run the command to load into the namespace

    for Eg: If you have create the XML file named "new.xml"  under the location "/home/user1/" you should use the command like this

    Go to <BIGINDEX_HOME>/lib. Run the command "java -jar bigindex-2.0.0.1.jar -n zookeeper -s testDep.in.ibm.com:1212 -i /home/user1/new1.xml".

    where in

    -n is your namespace

    -s is the zookeeper servername along with the port

    -i is the xml file

    For the Error that you are seeing,Can you please provide more information

    1. Have you followed all the steps from the DEP setup document ?

    2. Is you Zookeeper service running ? If not use the following command to start zookeeper service

    "/homes/hny1/rvedagir/zookeeper2/zookeeper-3.4.3/bin/zkServer.sh start"

    3. Which example have you run ?

    4. Where is the error coming from ? From the operator ?

    Also can you use Ip/hostname instead of localhost ? However this not mandatory.
