Pinned topic Suppressing pop up window while executing map from command prompt

‏2013-07-19T11:35:57Z |

Hello Friend,

I am preparing a batch process and executing map using command line option ('dstx'). I see map execution summary pops up when the map is invoked.

Could you please help me suppress the pop up? I am using WTX 8.3 version.

Please let me know if my query is not clear.

Thanks,

Debnarayan

    Close Window (-B)

When executing a map using a Command Server for Windows or AS/400 OS/400, use the Close Window execution command (-B) to exit the Command Server application after the map has completed.

Thanks a lot for your quick response.

I had been trying -B option as dstx -B <mapname> and it did not work. After your suggestion I tried dstx <mapname> -B and it worked!

Probably some examples in IBM online documentation would help reduce such communication and definitely saves time.

    Thanks again.
