Pinned topic UpsertObjects Activity in Cast Iron

‏2013-07-25T06:46:06Z |

Hi,

Can we add a field  to the results in the Map Outputs of the UpsertObjects(Salesforce) activity in Cast Iron?

Currently I can see only the below fields in map Outputs

1. created

2.  errors

3. id

4. success

Thanks,
Swetha Rai

No, those are the outputs that Cast Iron gets from the Salesforce API.  What other information were you expecting to see there?

You could write an xml schema mimicking the result, and add additional fields in the schema structure. Then what just need to do is in Map Output, map the values over.

Could you please explain again how could I map the new values in Map Outputs?

Basically these are the steps to do it:

    1. Create a xml schema consisting of the structure similar to upsert activity with the addition field you want and import into your project.
    2. Create a variable based on the schema structure.
    3. In Map output, select that variable you've created and then map those values over.

    Hi,

Please find a screenshot attached for such a scenario.

I am able to create a xml schema structure similar to Upsert Ouput, with a additional field 'custkey'.

Please tell me, how/from where  can I get the value of 'custkey' mapped ?

    Thanks,

    Swetha Rai
