    Hi.

    It seems one of the partitions of the disk referred by the sda device was mounted. Please reboot your system using IBMIT (this will unmount every partition) and then try again.

    Thanks,

    Anibal.

      What partitioning scenario did you choose? Automatic or manual? With LVM, RAID or conventional?

        Did you manually mount the sda3 partition?

          The IBMIT LiveDVD does not automatically mount any partition so it seems your system may have a corrupt partitioning. If you are sure you can delete all partitions of this system, then you can follow the steps below to remove any broken/corrupt SW RAID array or any broken/corrupt volume groups (LVM):

          Reboot your system, go to the Rescue mode (option 2) and run:

          RAID

          # Get the list of partitions that are part of the array, usually /dev/md0
          $ mdadm --detail /dev/md<n>

          # Stop the array
          $ mdadm --stop /dev/md<n>

          # Zero each partition superblock (for each partition listed on the first step, for example /dev/sda5)
          $ mdadm --zero-superblock /dev/sd<c><n>
          $ mdadm --zero-superblock /dev/sd<c><n>

          ...

          LVM

          # List each volume group

          $ vgs

          # Delete each one

          $ vgremove volGroup

          # List each logical volume

          $ lvs

          # Delete each one

          $ lvremove logVol

          # List each physical volume

          $ pvs

          # Delete each one

          $ pvremove phyVol

          Go back to the IBMIT menu:

          $ welcomecenter

          Run your installation.
