Pinned topic Plugin Jar Deployment Issue

‏2013-10-24T17:35:36Z |

We created a plugin to call a web service and put all the (spring) dependencies in the jar file.  At runtime the classes we developed are referening classes outside of the jar file and causing runtime issues. Our custom developed classes are referencing ibm classes that are needed for ICN instead of the classes in our jar file.

How can we fix this issue?

What are the run time issues you are encountering? Are you extracting and placing all the classes files directly in your plugin jar?  Usually it's very hard to resolve these types of issues.  Perhaps if it's easy, switch to using a REST-type web service which will eliminate a lot of your run time class dependencies.
