Pinned topic Reading Data from sequential file using Sequential Stage

‏2013-09-17T05:58:44Z |

We have data in sequential file (.txt) with field delimiter as (;) semi-colon, text qualifier as double quotes (") and record delimiter as CRLF (DOS format). The problem is, in my input data we have CRLF character for a field value. Although the data in that field is enclosed with double quotes, DataStage is throwing those records to reject Link.

How to handle record delimiter character  if its part of incoming data and tell DataStage complier that it is part of data and not a record delimiter.

As an example:

"111007";"some <CRLF>

checks";"loading"

The output of above input to a database table is expected as:

111007      some <CRLF> checks      loading
