Pinned topic sql3119w - Convert data error

‏2013-06-25T13:13:03Z |

Hi there!!

I'm having problems with sql3119w error when I try to load a table. I cannot understand but the table has a field (integer type) in which I'll try to load a decimal (9,0) type data. The system said: "The field value in row "F1-1" and column "3" cannot be converted to an INTEGER value.  A null was loaded."

I'm trying with sentence:

CALL sysproc.admin_cmd ('
load from  "/database/xxx"  of ASC
MODIFIED BY  NOHEADER CODEPAGE=284 DATEFORMAT="YYYY-MM-DD" PACKEDDECIMAL BINARYNUMERICS RECLEN=219
 METHOD L(
1    3,
4    9,
10    14
)
Warningcount 10 MESSAGES ON SERVER TEMPFILES PATH "/database/reject/"
REPLACE INTO "eeeeeeeee"."table_name_for_me"
(
camp1, camp2, camp3
)
  NONRECOVERABLE DATA BUFFER 200000  CPU_PARALLELISM 24     DISK_PARALLELISM 50 ' );

Please, somebody can help me?

Thanks!!

Regards

    Hi

    Seems this is not an issue related to DS, but an issue on Load usuage.

    Below are explains of SQL3119W, you maybe need to examine the input value. If necessary, correct the input file and

    resubmit the command or edit the data in the table.

    SQL3119W  The field value in row "<row-number>" and column
          "<column-number>" cannot be converted to an INTEGER value. A null
          was loaded.

    Explanation:

    There may be a data type mismatch because the value in the specified
    field cannot be converted to an INTEGER value.

    For delimited ASCII (DEL) files, the value of the column number
    specifies the field within the row that contains the value in question.
    For ASCII files, the value of the column number specifies the byte
    location within the row where the value in question begins.

    A null value is loaded.
