Pinned topic websphere load balancer high availability problem

‏2013-04-23T12:50:32Z |

Hello

we have implemented load balancer architecture we have two load balancer, sometimes our primary load balancer became standby and standby load balancer became active, when we check primary load balancer we find that executor is running (when we run dscontrol e start command we receive the error that says that Executor is already running), but high availability status is N/A  and we see the following error in reach.log

Error from getHAInfo().  iRc = -1

And the following error in hamon.log

HAM: Encountered an error getting status from the kernel.

  iRc = -1.

Please help us.

Thanks

    Hi, do you have IPv6 enabled on the system? And do you have the commands in the default.cfg or somewhere else?

    Regards, Brian

    Hi, Unfortunately you are going to have to open a PMR with IBM.  The error could be caused by numerous reasons, including a problem with the heartbeat, unreachable destinations, etc.  They will ask you to collect the following: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&context=SSCRMEM&q1=MustGatherDocument&uid=swg21140797&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&lang=en
