I have just come across an old IBM DS4500 (Fastt 900) which I want to use for a lab environment.
It currently powers on and I can see all the existing Luns on the disks and I can use it as is.
I want to connect to the storage manager to see exactly how it has been configured and what's going on with it.
I managed to get storage manager 9 and try to connect but receive an error about how the controller firmware is too old to connect.
Controller appware: 06.60.22.00
Can someone point me in the right direction to either an old version of storage manager or the latest available firmware and how I can upgrade it without access to storage manager…
I seem to keep going round in circles on the IBM website as it's such an old product, I have serials which I presume should entitle me to download the latest updates for it?
