Pinned topic XSLT debugger: cannot parse XML document

‏2013-10-10T16:49:10Z |

I'm using RSA 8.0.4 on RedHat Linux 6. I have a Java application that invokes many XSL transformations using java.xml.Transform.Transformer in Java SE 7. I would like to use the XSLT debugger but am having problems. As per 28.2.3 of the the RADWS V8 Programming Guide redbook, I have setup a debug configuration for "Java and Mixed Language Application". However, when I run my application, I see these errors:

The XSLT debugger could not parse the XML document 'generated:DOMinput12.xml'.

...

The XSLT debugger could not parse the XML document 'generated:DOMinput19.xml'.

Using the Java debugger, I can see that when run in this configuration, the Transform implementation is com.ibm.debug.xdi.jaxp.xalan.interpreted.DebugTransformerImpl. Yet, the xslt debugger still will not work correctly.

For all the transformations, I'm passing a StreamResult(File) to send everything to a file.

How do I fix this "could not parse" issue?
