Pinned topic ILMT 7.5 Import Catalog

Hi everyone,

 

I see in other topics about ILMT 7.5 have some errors during importing catalogs, and recomend to update IF 16 or increase log file size of DB2. Both not work for me. 

 

My version is

IBM License Metric Tool
7.5.0.121
20140625-2201

 

IF 21 installed, and everytime i try to import software catalog, this freezes and returns same error after time (~40 minutes more)

    Hi,

    try to increase the size of the transaction log files.

    1. Stop ILMT server
    2. Start - > run - > db2cmd
    3. Run below queries
    db2 connect to TLMA
    db2 update db cfg using LOGFILSIZ 5000
    db2 connect reset
    4. Restart the db2 instance

    db2stop force
    db2start


    5. Start the LMT server and try to import catalog again

    Hi, a already try this and not work, my DB2 transaction log is 8000 by default

     

    I solved this, downloading a 1 month old Catalog and import works fine, thanks for your reply.

     

    Another question, why my ilmt dont count my server PVU? i already configured VM manager with privilegies and say ok, but the processor count not worked, it says incompleted. In agent list, it reconizes my servers and say all ok, installed agents and works.

     

    i need to install agent on vsphere server?
