Pinned topic Ignore platform in Process/Update rules?

‏2013-07-25T16:41:42Z |

Hello,

Synergy v7.1

My group changed the platform file and wants to use the selections for reference only. Unfortunately, Update is using the platform setting as well as the release number. Is there a way to change the process rules to ignore the platform field entirely?

Thanks!

    Hello oldchevy,

as far as I know you cannot set anything that Synergy will not use the platform. You need to remove the content of platform by script, or use it for update.

    Kind regards

    Arno is correct.

The update process will prefer candidates whose platform attribute matches the project's platform. If the project's platform is unset, it will only consider candidates that have no platform value.
