Hi,

I am trying to install Infosphere Biginsight Enterprise Edition 2.1.0.0 on RHEL 6.4 and I am facing following error ,

INFO] HadoopConf - Hadoop Configuration class is not on classpath
Exception in thread main java.io.IOException: exit code: 1 -- sudo -S -p SUDOPWD: mkdir /opt/ibm/biginsights
sudo: sorry, you must have a tty to run sudo

[FATAL] Failed to init dir /opt/ibm/biginsights, /var/ibm/biginsights. Depends on the selected security option, the cause could be biadmin missing sudo priviledge, or a wrong root password, or something else.

All sudo priviledges are there for biadmin user and password is not at all issue. So can anyone please help to solve this issue.

Thanks,

    Hello,

Could you please check whether the root password is correct for all the nodes? You may specify different root password on the Add Node dialog on the Nodes page of the Installer UI.

If you use a non-root user to install the BigInsights, this user must have sudo root privilege on all the nodes in the cluster.
