Pinned topic cognos express 10.2.1 error configuration manager

Hi Im getting this whwn I run manager in explorer for the first time after selecting the finish installation button when manager tries to install prompts for the following error:

 

An error has occurred
 
For input string: "%CX_IDS_DRDA_PORT%"

 

im using internet explorer 10

cognos bi developer trial vesion 10.2.1 / cognos express 10.2.1

windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

 

worth mentioning that I get the same error with both developer edition version 10.2.1 and  express version 10.2.1

    My system:

    Windows 7-64 bit

    Ram: 8GB

    ---

    Time line

    1. IIS configured as required.

    2. Cognos express installed with Admin privileges

    3. It was working fine until I rebooted the server.

    4. All services (2 informix +3 Cognos are currently running - see attachmente)

    5. See errors (attached)

    Please advise what to do

    can you please zip the logs folder in the root of your Express install directory and attach for troubleshooting?

    Are you using IPV6?

    I'm facing the same problem.

    My environment is:

    Windows 2008 Enterprise R2 SP 1

    JRE 1.6

    I'm attaching my logfiles for troubleshooting. I tried many things and I was not able to solve this issue. Could you give me a help?

    Can you please reinstall and select a non-default port during the port selection wizard. Select a port range from the dropdown list of port number range in the install wizard. This maybe related to your default port being reserved by another service.

    Issue is under investigation but as we are not able to replicate the issue for now.

    Hi. I have a problem. After installation Cognos Express I open Express Manager. The link in browser opens but the page does not load. Screenshot in attachment

    Tried on Windows 7 64b and on Windows Server 2008 R2

    Firewalls are turned off.

    Can you help me please ?
