Folks, I was wondering if bigsheets save the data every time it creates a new workbook... is this correct?

Copies of the entire input data will be created and saved into HDFS only after each child workbook is run. If you click "Build new workbook", define your logic and then click "Save", the only thing that will be saved is the metadata defining the logic and also a 2000 row sample. It is not until you click run and the full mapreduce over the entire data is conducted will a copy be written and saved to HDFS. For master workbooks a 2000 row sample is also saved, but the data itself is never saved or modified. BigSheets is "not allowed" to modify the master data, so that is why there is no edit or save operations on a master workbook.
