Pinned topic Use DS3400 as expansion

‏2013-06-10T23:33:36Z |

We've recently inherited a DS3400 and currently have a DS4700 with EXP810.  Is it possible to add the DS3400 to the existing set up as an expansion unit?

Cheers

You can convert a DS3400 to a EXP3000, but that wont help you, as a EXP3000 is not supported on a DS4700.

DS4700 uses fiber expansions/disks, and the EXP3000/DS3400 uses SAS expansions/disks.
