Pinned topic Enzee Community is moving to developerWorks platform

‏2016-02-02T22:47:21Z | enzee_community

Dear Enzee Community Members,

We are moving after many years at www.ibm.com/connections.

Between Friday, February 25 and Monday, February 29th, our community will join pre-existing communities in developerWorks, another collaboration platform powered by IBM Connections. All our content and members will be migrated programmatically.

Look for email notifications sent by IBM Community Support/New York/IBM or comsupp@us.ibm.com, the team managing the migration process, and follow instructions closely.

Emails are currently scheduled to be sent out next week (week of 2/8). I will follow-up here with any a copy of those communications.

This is strictly a platform change, and will not impact the content, scope or collaboration of our wonderful Enzee Community.

Thank you,

Juliet Sigmann

Is there a way to search and read posts from the old forums? It was a very useful resource for a pretty specialist topic and would be useful to have access to the archive. The old www-304.ibm.com/connections website seemed to be accessible until a few days ago because someone posted to it.

Google returns addresses such as this one but they now take me to a not very helpful page about migrating to the cloud. The search feature on the IBM website itself lists many similar pages which aren't available any more. Maybe the landing page should be updated to indicate where the old posts can be found and the IBM search database updated to return the updated URL instead of dead links. You say that the content will be preserved but I can't figure out how to find it.

It seems that I needed to use the lower search feature, next to the box that says "this forum" in the light grey area at the top of this page rather than the more obvious "search DeveloperWorks" field slightly higher up in the dark grey area. The former finds what I want, the latter returns the old broken links. A purge of the search index and automatic redirects would still be useful.
